Legit survey from UNL.
Called left a message saying with dept of health conducting a health survey. Any questions can call 1-877-791-7359. Not one of my states dhhs numbers. Called from 402-471-1671, also not dhhs number... recording alerts when you call back 471-1671 saying you reached dept of health and human services office and someone will call you back cuz they conducting health survey. If you have questions or want to talk to a person press 1 to talk to supervisor. Can't press 0 or no other # cuz they hang up on you. Never pressed one cuz they obviously want you to... even the caller ID on my phone said health N Human services. Powered by Hiya....no state is listed with call id, or on message never say state dhhs is with. Actually said dept of health., also on voice recording when I called back the number they originally called from said you reached dept of health and human services office. Would not say that...NO GOVERNMENT OFFICE OR DEPT WILL CONTACT YOU WITHOUT SENDING A WRITTEN NOTICE SAYING WHAT THE ISSUE IS, ID THEMSELVES WITH VALID NUMBERS EMAILS WEBADDRESS AND INSTRUCTIONS SAYING THEY WILL CONTACT YOU THIS DATE AND TIME. EVEN THEN IT WOULD BE FOR SOMETHING YOU INTITIATED LIKE FOOD STAMPS, MEDICAID. ECT... THEY CAN'T CONTACT YOU ON CRAP JUST CUZ THEY WANT TO. NO RANDOM SURVEYS WITHOUT OTHER NOTIFICATIONS OF DOING SO.
Under the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) 47 U.S.C. Section 227. 1991. restrictions are as follows: the making of telemarketer calls and the use of automated telephone dialing systems and prerecorded voice messages are prohibited. This rule also applies to common carriers as well. The TCPA rules require a prior expressed or written consent from the consumer before robocalling them. For violations of the TCPA there will be a $500 to $1,500 dollar fine for each violation. I can assure you the FCC will pursue this matter to the fullest extent of the law. I witnessed a friend file a formal complaint about TCPA violations with the FCC and with the money she recovered for the telemarketer harassment calls (she received and documented 355 calls from the same telemarketer (in one weekend) because the calls were retaliatory based on her demand to stop calling her - the FCC threw the book at them. They actually pursued the culprit and she received a United States Treasury Check for an astronomical amount of money (add it up - $1,500 for each deliberate call). I'm so proud of her for following through with her mission of triumph. She rained happiness on me because I told her about the FCC and TCPA rules. Stand your ground people and exercise your right to......"peaceful enjoyment of your home and phone"......you do not have to put up with annoying, disturbing telemarketer calls if you choose not to. You pay the phone bill and you have the right to decide who calls you and who doesn't. Just saying......

This is not spam and they are not selling anything. It is a CDC Nebraska Health Screening survey. They do not ask any identifying question. The computer random dials Nebraska phone numbers. They must screen you with a couple of basic questions to be sure you qualify to take the survey. That is how they keep it accurate. If they call your cell phone they will ask if you are at least 18 and if you.own the phone. They can't conduct a survey if it is a buisness phone..If they call a landline they will usually ask to speak to the person living in the home that is at least 18 and will.be having the next birthday. I used to.work for GALLUP as a survey taker. I know how it works and the surveys are interesting. They ask yes or no questions, multiple choice questions, and rating scale questions.
