Caller ID showed Convergys Corp on the screen with the listed phone number. I was at work, so I wasn't home to answer. General rule I have is that I never answer unknown calls as well as strange company. I wouldn't be surprised if I get more calls from this company later on. Keep track of how many times this company calls you - date, time, name and phone number. Then make a list of all that info and mail it to your state attorney - it has a bureau that deals with telemarketing calls, etc.

New York has the best bureau - Charities' Bureau that deals with harrassing unsolicited calls and junk mails that never stop coming. I finally solved that problem with junk mail by mailing a sample letter with explanation to the attorny after years of harrassment. The charity organization stopped immediately after this complaint.

All I get is dead air. When I tried to dial back I did get a message stating it was Convergys Corp a marketing research group.

young man asked for me by name and said he was calling on behalf of Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Then asked if he had called me cell phone. Apologized and said they weren't allowed to call cell phones and he hung up. I tried calling back from caller ID but call wouldn't go through.
