Received 20 calls from 402-609-5569, and each lasted 1 - 3 seconds. They hang up every time I answer the phone! They are calling a business number, and we cannot block the calls.

"Convergent Res" is all that shows up on caller ID. I finally called them back after receiving 20+ calls a day, only to learn, through a recorded message they have the wrong number. I pressed "4" for "you have the wrong number" but I have no confidence they will quit calling.

I pay for my phone service, but more and more I receive robo calls, sales calls, and many unwanted phone calls even though I'm on the Do Not Call list. I have turned off my ringer, and it's difficult for family, friends, and legitimate biz calls to reach me. My Service is through Windstream, and they do not block robo calls for their customers even through the tech exists.

What do I have to do? Live without a phone?
