i want to report that number, they call everyday and i dont know why, i dont know that people,please dont call again

said he had received an error report from my computer and asked me to open my computer and right click on the computer icon. I let him go on for a bit, of course never opening my computer. Said he was from "Computer Operating Department" was the name of his business and he would fix my computer for the cost of a cup of coffee! So.... I told him I had a Mac, and was a police officer and would be filing a report on him. (I lied too!)

Same thing, but I told him that I have Macintosh. He put me on hold, then came back mumbling, put me on hold, then I hung up. He's called before.

same thing .. over and over .. some thing rowng with my c. and he wanted to fix it and latter that same day 2 calls came in from some one say that want to talk to me a bought a lone ..?? hu.. and a nother caller sed some thing a bought my morge .. um..??? and later that day a call came from skype .. same voice differnt name.. some inda man .. dont let them in..!!!!!! baD NEWS I HAVE THE GOVERMENT IN ON THIS NOW..

Indian accent, guy calls and says that he can get grants for me. I hang up and now he calls multiple times a day and when I answer it's just silent, then he hangs up.

Same person called me with a this indian accent. He claimed something different to me though. He stated I could get grants and such completely free. Asked a couple of times if I had computer or internet access. He then said that I needed to be transferred to someone else to finalize everything. Once he went to transfer me I hung up. DO NOT GO TO YOUR COMPUTER OR ALLOW ACCESS TO IT AT ALL!!! DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION!! SCAM !! May steal your identity. I do not know or am I going to find out!

I got a call to my home in Sweden from the same arrogant Indian fellow. The line was horrible; presumably he's not calling from the 402 area at all but from a Skype line (perhaps even from India) which then is rerouted through the US.

I have gotten similar calls before and understood immediately that this is a scam.

"You are scamming people", I said. "Have you no shame?"

"I am shameless", he whispered back and then immediately hung up.

I have filed a police report and reported the number to the FTC.

I received a call this afternoon from this man with an Indian accent. Telling me that he was with Microsoft Windows and that I recently downloading illegal software. Which did not make sense because I do not know how to download. While talking to him I was thinking this was a scam. He was brutally rude. I told him that this wrong and he started to scream at me telling that was coming to bomb my house and he knew all my information. So what I did was I got my neighbour to listen on the call. Please be aware this man is very rude and aggresive. So I called the police to let them know I am being harassed.

Total scam.
I am an IT professional. So when this guy opened up with "we have received a technical error report from your computer", I immediately asked him what "error report" and what the exact error was.

He kept to his script and then I let him know that I am happen to be a very technically inclined person, who works in the IT field, and I deal with "technical error reports" every day; he hung up.

This seems to be the new scam, and it is VERY brazen.

This man of Indian accent asked to speak to my husband and then I told him he was not here, he told me it was Microsoft Windows and was calling because my computer had a very dangerous virus. He insisted on going to my PC.
I was very confused because he telephoned early in the morning, when I was still sleeping
I did not understand the connection between my husband, the computer and Windows, so I hung up. I could not sleep anymore.

Caller wanted to fix a problem on my computer. He sais that he was working for Windows.

No one was on the other end and hung up after a few minutes. After reading other comments I am familar with these calls because few months back they called daily. Thank goodness I have a daycare because kids love the phone hehe.

Exactly the same as with the other people who reported this type of call.

Some moron without a life.
