Asking for my social security number??

I have never has nor used PayPal and $33.91 charged to my card. How the F do you get ahold of these people? Every time I try on-line it says Log-in or open an account. Why the F would I create an account to check on fraudulent charge, so they can do it again? WTF

I had this number show up on bank statement for a charge of $292.46 and shows as an ebay purchase. I did not authorize this purchase so I notified bank of fraudulent purchase. The number may be authentic but someone is using it to FRAUDULENTLY charge things to mine and other peoples accounts.

402-935-7733 is a legitimate number for PayPal customer service. On PayPal's website, the # to call to resolve a problem is 888-221-1161, but the wait time is long & the automated system gives you the option of receiving a call-back within a certain period of time (in my case, 23-35 minutes). I chose that option & the number the call-back came from was 402-935-7733.

The person I spoke with took the details of the problem (charge to my credit card for an item I'd ordered but didn't receive) & said I'd get e-mail confirmation of the dispute & what PayPay was going to do about it. A few minutes later I got 3 e-mails from PayPal, noting the case # that had been created, that the merchant had been contacted & that if they didn't respond or resolve the problem within 11 days the charge would be refunded.

So while you can call 402-935-7733 & get an automated PayPal system, the # given on their website is 888-221-1161, and if you choose not to wait for a representative & have them call you, the call will come from 402-935-7733. Which is also the number that shows on my credit card statement regarding the charge @ issue.

This number called me at 6:49 am - it was a taped message telling me to enter my PayPal PIN number immediately. Strange - as I DO NOT HAVE a PayPal account. Scam!

This number showed up on our credit card statement with a charge of $25 via paypal. We did not authorize this and reported it to the cc company. Sad.

No they did not call me, they drafted the following amount out of my bank account with that phone number listing as follows:

I think this Paypal number is legit. I go to their https://402-935-7733.website/ and complained about my experience to their number and they explained it to me about what happened.

This number was blocked by your block list, or Community block list. This was listed as "scam". This number is not a scam, it is actually PayPal fraud department. I had an issue with PayPal and they tried to call me. So again, you can take this off the list as "scam", it is PayPal. Just FYI.

This is NOT a scam number. I called PayPal today with a question about my account. The call was accidentally disconnected when the rep tried to connect to another department so the PayPal rep called me back and this is the number that showed up on my Caller ID. The call was blocked by my phone the first 2 times because the number is on the Call Control block list. So, I had to whitelist this number in the Call Control app so the PayPal rep could get through to me and finish assisting me with the question that I called them about. Again, this is NOT a spam number.
