Last month, got a call from 402-817-7910. Now, just a few minutes ago, got a call from a different phone # 402-951-9352. Different phone numbers, both from Nebraska, same area code, different caller names. The second phone # left me a VM, same case as everyone else is saying in their complaints/ comments here. On the first phone#, i really got scared, so my attorney called the #. After talking to my lawyer, it stopped calling me.
I have a co-worker who told me of same incident. She sent a check for $700 because she didn't know about this scam that's been circulating around to so many people. I decided to write my own experience here, so that whoever is searching for this phone # on the internet will be aware that (s)he is not alone and should not be alarmed by this scare tactic.

Just received a call from ole 'Lisa Reynolds' and she is saying good luck to me in dealing with her intended need for me to call her or have my attorney call her.

Poor ole Lisa doesn't realize that she is at the middle of this particular type of scam and we know to just look her name and number up on google. If this is your first call of this type get ready for a pile of them. Just ignore them. They have to provide info to you in writing NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY. They will tell you that the issue has gone too far for verification. Don't believe them. Ask what county they are filing charges and call that district attorney, sheriff office, or other legitimate type of legal business. All the sheriff departments and district attorney offices that I have called to verify are very eager to let you know that you are not in trouble with them and they want the info that you have been given (i.e. names and phone numbers). I even have called the district attorney and sheriff department in the area code they are supposed to be calling from. They are aware of the scams and need to know if they are still active. It is very hard to stop the calling unless the authorities have enough evidence.

I have had them say they would show up at my work. I tell them to please do so and they never show up. I have had them say they were around the corner with a sheriff and still they do not show up. It is embarrassing to have them call your job or your friends/relatives but don't give in. Make sure your elderly family and friends know that if a similar caller wants money from them to just call the local police and report it.

have been getting calls from same people for months now. every time i block the number they change it by 1 digit. this time she said her name was Lisa Reynolds so I guess making movies does not pay as good as scams

This number calls all the time. Don't say my name , needs me or my retaining attorney to call back at this number. In doing so if they do not hear from me I waive my right to counsel and papers will be filed in my county and they don't even say what county.. I finally answers after 10 months of this bull and she tells me to mash 1 for the investigators... stupid girl. They made the mistake of calling me from a 317 605-0857# and telling me to call the 402 951-9352. FBI needs this to reference back too cause its a landline in Indianapolis with a name behind it. I wish they would get busted here. Something needs to happen
