Message requested that my credit card number would be required as a condition for completing the call. The message indicated that my credit card interest rate could be reduced as long as I provided the requested information. I did not provide any information as this call was obviously another identity theft scam preying on a Jitterbug cellphone user. Jitterbug cell phones are favorites for senior citizens like myself and the scammers know this is a good source for identity theft and credit care fraud.

They have been calling me for over one year. They use spoof numbers and change them every two to three days. Ann calls saying there is a new government program that can lower your interest rates on your credit cards press 1 to speck to a repersentive.
