DITTO re 100000 air miles - I am an Air Miles holder and I know that they Air Miles have had contest in the past awarding such amount but I was skeptical and did reverse look up of the number. We can block unwanted numbers in Canada from land lines but not sure about cell phones. Will check with my provider.

I was woken up from my nap with my landline phone ringing. I missed the call. If it's important they should leave a message, but they did not. Exactly 15 minutes later the same call from the same number came to my cell phone. Although I know some people from the 403 area code I did not recognize the rest of the number. I refused to answer it. If it's important they should leave a message. Again, they did not. I get too many calls from telemarketers and scammers that if I don't recognize the number I often don't answer it. And yet, my cell phone is also my business line. Sometimes it's hard to know if you are missing an important business call by not answering it (although most of my business calls come from my local area code, not 403). I am very disappointed by scams coming from the 403 area code because I live in the same province as the 403 code and I had hoped that people in this province would have been more mature than to try to pull scams. Thank you all for posting the details of calls from this number. Now I know to ingore future calls from this number.

Have got this incoming call several times, both on my land line and cell phone. Same automated voice about winning $100,000 free air miles. No-one gives away that many air miles. I think it is a scam but I can't figure out how it works. I don't press 1.

Call received to my cell. Air miles winner! I am not an Air Miles subscriber. Would love to block this number. Is there any way to block a number from our cell phones? They aren't bothering our land line for some reason.
