Same with me, told me I wrote a bad check , wanted to know if I had an attorney because I was being charged with a felony. Told me if I didnt pay the balance within an hour, a warrant would be issued and I would be arrested. She then told me to make the payment , I had to send a MONEYGRAM from WALMART........ I will say, they did sound extremely convincing, I called my county courthouse and they entered my name and had no record of anything they had told me. The warrants office at the sheriff even put me on hold and called them and they hung up on her. The county sheriff had me file a police report.

I just said the same thing happened to me, and just today.
They had enough info that I thought it was legit. I was so close to doing it.

they ran the same story on me about the bad check and then said they made a mistake. what is the deal with this company?

They said I wrote a bad check and they were looking to see if I had an attorney so the can process me...I live in penna. Not georgia..and I've never ever written a bad check ..
