This was a "collections company" calling to help me resolve an issue with a debt that I had in default. They asked me all manner of personal questions that were unnecessary, such as who did I bank with and where did I work. I asked them what the debt was for, and they gave me information on a student loan that is not in default and not in my name, because it is in my fathers name. I asked them to stop calling me with their bogus claims. They have continued to call and threaten wage garnishment. They have also attempted to contact my place of work and speak with the HR office and the owner.
