(404) 835-5476 Robo call recorded 17 August 2018 (Health insurance sales call) SCAM
Caller ID: "Bulldog Movers"
Robo call (spoofing a legitimate business phone number) announcement offering "...a limited health enrollment period for a few weeks so you and your family can get a great insurance plan at the price you can afford..." mentioning several well-known health insurers.
Their closing sentence ("be blessed") is a phrase commonly used by scammers from India on live calls.
Their call insults our intelligence on many levels, including their "shotgun" approach to making mass phone calls, hoping to find a few people who are interested in health insurance, and their total disregard of the Do Not Call list certainly tells us a lot about their business ethic, doesn't it?
Here is a transcript of their insulting, automated, intrusive and unwanted robo telemarketing call:
"Hi this is Anne. I'm calling to let you know that we have been granted a limited health enrollment period for a few weeks so you and your family can get a great insurance plan at the price you can afford and we make it hassle free to sign up. We have pre-approvals ready in your area, including Cigna, Blue Cross, Aetna, United and many more. Press 1 to get a hassle free assessment, or press 2 to be placed on our DO NOT CALL list. Thanks for your time and be healthy and blessed."
[Note - why would I have to press two to be placed on their Do Not Call list when I'm already on the Federal Do Not Call list?]
