They called me and left the same message. I knew it wasn't really the IRS, but I called them back for a laugh. The guy who answered was obviously not in the US (the line clicked and transferred at least 3 times before anyone actually picked up the call). He tried to convince me that he was, indeed, from the IRS, and then cursed at me when I told him I knew he was lying. He finally hung up on me.
