What kind of scam is this? I got this call today where he asked if I wanted home security and if I wanted to get a sign displayed in my yard. Has anyone had anything happen to them after getting this call? Like has the person tried to break in your home? What type of scam is this?

It was a pre-recorded message, but it seemed to be an inteactive - basing their response on my response. They wanted to place a home security sign in the yard of my home. - - - - I do not live in a home. I had an RV. They called my cell phone. I do not have a home phone number. They called two days in a row even though I told them they FIRST time they called the day prior to today that I lived in a RV and that the number called was my cell phone.

Called me several times without leaving a message. I answered once and nobody talked. I tried calling them back but the operator said the number was disconnected. It is very annoying because they will call while I'm in class
