Would not respond when I answered, then hung up. I a on the Do Not Call list, but that apparently doesn't matter.
I will report, but don't expect any action.
Claim to be working for my bank and can lower my credit card rates.
LOWER YOUR INTEREST RATE
That they could lower my credit card interest rates.
This is the same pre-recorded call that I receive about once a week. They used different numbers but it is always the same recorded message. Stating approximately:
"This is an urgent message regarding your credit card. We are calling from Credit Member Services. There is currently nothing wrong with your account but this call is to let you know that your eligibility to take advantage of lower rates is running out. etc, etc, etc."
It then says to press 1 or stay on the line to speak with a customer representative.
As usual, as soon as a "representative" comes on I begin to ask that they take me off the list. Before I can finish - the "representative" hangs up on me.
This is getting ridiculous. Please do something about these a**hats.
