Says the government has reduced the interest rate of my credit card, which they attempt to lead me to believe is a card I have through their company. They falsely represent themselves as a department of one of my credit providers' companies, calling about an existing credit account.

Caller: "customer legal services" or something. Variant of "Rachel from Card Services".

offer to lower credit card rates. I asked them where they got their information. They said my bank. I told them they were getting bad information then, because I have no credit cards. I got a quick goodbye after that, despite my trying to keep them on the line.
