telemarketing regarding home protection alarm system

I usually don't answer unknown numbers, but I have many family members who live in Montana -- so answered this call.

After answering "This is Shain" ... silence. After a few seconds, I tried "Hello?" ... then, apparently what was said was: "Hi, my name is Tom and I'm calling from Home Protection Services."

But I thought I heard: "... and I'm calling from Homes for Texans." LOL. I said, "Did you say 'Homes for Texans?'" but then the voice just began the scripted message about wireless security systems. When I said "No thanks", the scripting droned on ... so I figured it wasn't a real person, just a robo-call.

Just as I was hanging up, he said "I'll have someone else call you ..." or something to that effect. I called back hoping to identify the name of the company to report it (I'm on the Do Not Call list, and will report it on multiple forums like this). I received an automated response that said to unsubscribe and be placed on THEIR "do not call" list ... press '1'. I did, and we'll see ...

Has called me for the 2 weeks straight. No one ever says anything and when I call back it always tell me that all circuits are busy.

I also just received a call from this number about a security system. I'm from MI and inquired about real estate in Montana... it's the same area code I called. I called two realtors... talked with one and the other one there wasn't an answer... went to the answering machine. The one I talked to I left my number (cell phone number... same one I called on) So either the one I left my number with spammed me or the other one that didn't answer had caller id and got it that way. I know it had to be either or because I rarely give my number out and that's the only time I've ever called Montana... and it's so convenient that the very next day I get a call from the same area code I called. They won't talk back because it's all scripted by a machine... it's not a real person.

Keep calling my cell and not leaving a vm, when i answer it someone trying to sell somehing. asked them not to call me anymore on the dnc but they dont listen

I'm supporting all the complaints below.......I get called three to four times a day when I call back there is not a connection...or I get all circuts are busy...try again later! We need better gov. regulations on this type of spam.

I received a missed call from this number 406-530-5038 and when i tried to return the call, all i get is all circuits are busy message, i have looked up this number and many people say its a scam and telemarketing..

I have gotten calls about 3 times a day. I don't answer them.

File a complaint with the FTC. The more complaints maybe we can get them shut down.

This number calls and says don't hang up, the FBI...Its all recorded and I hang up. Even though I am on the do not call registry. It's absurd that they can still call and bother and annoy people on their cell phones especially when it is on the Do Not call Reistry.
