got 2 today w/in about .5 hour. didnt answer.

Received a recorded call at work from this number, saying they were calling about my loan modification number 7489632, and implying that I might go into foreclosure if I did not modify my existing loan. The recording gave choice to press various numbers on their menu to proceed. I ignored the choices and just waited on the line, after which they hung up. There is no way they would have my office number so it seems they call at random and hope to catch someone who may want a loan. They have also called my cell# and my home #. I don't want to go on the Do Not Call list as I don't want to block out all sales calls. I don't get that many and want to hear who calls me even if it's telemarketers from whom I sometimes learn something if they are legit. I looked up Dept of Consumer Affairs to file a complaint but seems they want you to first go on Do Not Call list and then if the telemarketer ignores that after 30 days and still keeps calling you, then you can file a complaint against them with your City or State Dept. of Consumer affairs which you can fine on line and the info is on their website, e.g., complaint form, etc..

Just got called from this to cell -they left no message.

People keep calling me all hours of night and day! I have no idea who or what these people are!
The want people who owe other people money, they give some number? They sure aren't looking for me!

B.S. Scam company

I'm on the do not call list and don't appreciate calls from a loan modification department.

Message left on my caller I.D. registers as Loan Mod dept. Claims to be working with banks to reduce credit card debt. Is this legit ?
