I called the # back and a recorded message asked me to press "1" if I didn't want to be contacted in the future. I did so but we'll see if that really stops the calls. Most definitely a scam - beware!

This number was on my caller ID 406-948-8001. It listed the number as Glendive MT. I didn't answer because I don't if I don't know the person and they didn't leave any message when the machine picked up either.

I just received a call from this number caller ID showed "unknown name" so I did not pick up, but when it rang enough times my answering machine took the call and it was to lower my interest rates on my credit cards; however, it didn't say which company was calling. Do not answr or give cradit card info to this number it is obiviously a scam! I wish the phone company or the FBI would shut this idoiots down!

I just noticed today, Nov 05,2010, that the 406. 948-8001 number popped up on my caller I.D. box. I screen all calls and never pick up the phone unless I know who it is.

Told me that my credit card rate could be lowered. When I asked what compant he was with, he told me "none of your fu____ing business. I filed a complaint with the FCC

I have received this scam call many times.... wanting to lower my credit card interest rate. Yeah sure. I have repeatedly reported this scam call to donotcall.gov. There seems to be no one working at this site anymore as the calls go on. Big time scam. Do nothing when this call comes in.

Call from a Montana # 406 948-8001 wanting to lower credit card interest. I called FBI they are aware of this scam. It is coming from another country ****** DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD !!!!!!!!!!!!

This person called saying he worked with the banks and wanted credit card numbers to lower interest rates. The name he gave was Denny Bodo. He had information about me but seemed suspicious. Caller I.D. number was 1-406-948-8001 but number to call him back was 1-888-333-3857. The 406 I called back on a recorded message said something about a marketing firm over and over. The 888 number just had back ground music playing and nobody ever answered the phone.

I didn't answer knowing it was a scam.

caller said he was from credit card company and could lower rates. i asked to be connected to a supervisor as this was the fifth call from this company and i had already requested to be removed from their calling list. the caller hung up.
