Received, through a response to my indeed.com resume/job search, an email from "Jenifer at Bain Marketing" regarding a supposed job opening. The email describes this "Web Marketing Position" as follows: "I have multiple Real Estate and other business clients who need Social Media Marketing and Search Engine Optimization work that you could help me with from home. It could be part time if you want. Please call me regarding the position at 407-446-1321." A Google search for the phone number resulted in a Twitter page for Jenifer Bain (https://twitter.com/jeniferbain) at which there are a great many tweets such as: "I made $609 today working a few hour from home check this out...". Easy money is first sign there's a problem. Each of these tweets includes an abbreviated link, and I checked several of these links, all of which resulted in indication of a violation or other issue, such as this from Google: "this goo.gl shortlink has been disabled. It was found to be violating our Terms of Service" and this from bitly: "The link you requested has been identified by bitly as being potentially problematic. This could be because a bitly user has reported a problem, a black-list service reported a problem, because the link has been shortened more than once, or because we have detected potentially malicious content. This may be a problem because...". ... It, therefore, seems this is not a phone number, business, or offer to be trusted.
