Received call from Dennis Gray 407-588-1689. Same as listed above but they are using the badge numbers of IRS employees that they secure by contacting the IRS office. The IRS does not file suits for outstanding liabilities, they have liens and levies.

Scam saying to avoid prosecution by IRS to call this nunber

Received a call from a woman who claimed to be Agent Ashley Scott (with a heavy Indian accent) badge number 117328 who said I would be arrested due to back taxes from 2012. She said she was dispatching agents to arrest me. I reported her and this number to the IRS. Please report these calls to phishing@irs.gov. SCAM!!

Called saying I owe the irs and if I hung up I would go to jail for six months! Really? I'll wait and hung up.

Scam caller

Got the call from this guy today. I thought he said his name was Dennis Quaid, which I found totally hilarious. I called back, and strung him along for a bit, until he got sufficiently frustrated with me that he hung up.

"This message is sent to contact you. My name is Dennis Gray and I'm calling regarding an enforcement action executed by the US treasury intending your see this attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jewelry for a federal criminal offense. My number is 407-588-1689. I repeat 407-588-1689. I'd wife you to cooperate with us and help us to help you. Thank you. Hi this message is intended to contact you. My name is Dennis Gray and I'm calling regarding an enforcement action executed by US treasury."

Same name and message it's a shame some people fall for this scam

Just received the same call on my cell phone from "Dennis Gray" and said all of the same things listed by others. Why does the IRS/Government stop this from happening.

I just got the same call-- from a Dennis Gray-- recorded message..saying it was from the Treasury Department.

I'm going to send the numbers I collected to the IRS.

I have received this call from "Dennis Gray" for the past two days. He leaves voicemails indicating that I needed to call to avoid grand jury, etc. I have not called the number and refuse to answer the phone.

Received call at 9 AM today.... treasury/IRS criminal action against me and possible grand Jury appearance or before a Federal Magistrate on criminal charges - unless I return the call to this number. Caller self-identified as Dennis Gray with a foreign accent caller. Absolute nonsense..... reported them to the IRS inspector General complaint address.
