The pre-recorded message claimed to be from "Cardholder Services" regarding my credit card account, and saying a very important offer was about to expire.

Credit Card Services. They keep calling from different numbers with a recording to lower your credit card interest. When you get a live body and ask not to be called they hang up on you. I file a complaint with the do not call registry and that's useless. I'm begining to think the Do Not Call Registry is the big scam. The more I complain the more calls I get.
