the call was a spam electronic message with a code for some sort of travel deal. the live rep who answered refused to tell me the name of the company. this is the third or fourth time I have received these calls.

The message stated that my family had been selected for a sweepstakes of some sort. I had another call coming in at the same time and I switched over to it. When I went back to the spam call, there was no one there. I then attempted to call it back and a message stated that it was out of service after a few rings

I have received more than 550 "lower your credit card interest rate" calls on my unlisted - Do Not Call registered cell phone. They are now calling 4 to 5 times per day. These calls have been increasing ever since the FCC has taken action against the 9 robocall spammers.
Slapping them with a fine that they do not have to pay isn't going to deter them at all. You need to go after them in CRIMINAL court for the advance fee fraud and the identity theft.

They keep calling at least once a day. When I answer they hang up. I called the number back to see who it was said the number was disconnected. I dont know who they are, but I want them to quit bothering me.
