The caller had the audacity to hang up on me when I said my husband was deceased. When I tried to call the number back, a recording came on saying the number was disconnected. How the hell does this happen?

Got a call from this number saying they were IRS and we owed $9K and that I better pay it now or else sheriff will come and arrest me.

Scammer.. Block it from your phone if you can. They will call multiple times a day and then put you on hold waiting to connect. I stayed on as I was going to mess with them before I blocked the number but it humg up...

Called me, said stay on line for next agent as if I called them, awful music. I hung up & will block call. Recommend to people that they don't try to call the number back - that just tells them your phone # is legit. or else the phone # isn't working.

Answered call, put on hold and then they hung up after a minute of music. Called back and number is no longer in service. I do not know who this is, just that it is not legit.
