BEWARE. FRAUD ALERT.
The caller(s) from this number claim to be an online pharmacy – Universal Pharmacy. A woman named “Arlene” and another who called herself “Kristine.” My caller ID identified the number as belonging to a Marvine Menez, but who knows what's true or not. Arlene and Kristine called me relentlessly for several weeks until I gave in and ordered a prescription. When I wouldn’t give them my credit card number over the phone, they insisted I send the money by Xoom, a Paypal service. Once they picked up the cash in the Philippines, they said there was a problem with their system, that the order was not processed within a two-hour window, so they asked me to send the money again. Of course, a cash pick up has nothing to do with any other system(s), so I was pretty sure I'd been scammed at that point. They stole $120.00 from me.
