Another "lower your credit card rates" robocall from "Rachel" (one of at least a dozen from as many different numbers ...reported every one of them to FTC) Sometimes, caller ID displays 'Card Serv Inc', sometimes it's 'Cardservices', and other times it's 'Name Unknown' or 'Name Not Found' or 'Unknown Caller' ...sometimes there appear to be a legitimate phone number, other times it's 3 digits then 000-0000 ... and a few times the entire number is 0's. Sometimes I answer, other times the message actually gets partially recorded on my answering machine. The most recent call ... TODAY (11/1/2012) at 4:55pm. (Oh, the number displayed this time was 408-412-4097)

This is a supposed company who says that they will help you with your credit card bills- and "this is your final notice"! They call me using this number and several other numbers at least once per day using the same exact greeting. I "press 1 to talk to a representative". The rep is rude and awful when I ask them to quit calling. One threatened to make sure that I am NEVER off this list. I started flushing the toilet in the phone, or blowing a whistle. I think what I will do though is to play along and try to find out just who they are. Obviously they are scammers. I am on the Do not call list.

I did not answer. Pre-recorded message left on my machine wanted to lower my credit card interest rates to as low as 0%. Warned that this would be the final call [in my dreams]as they have "already contacted me by mail," [they have not]. Message asked me to press "1" to speak to an agent.
