I received a call saying I owe the IRS money. Did not answer or respond to call.
Yes, received a call today. Voicemail that was left was automated and listed officer Nicky Johnson.
I called back (smart I know) and they said I iwe $4,500 in back taxes, but didn't give an option to pay. Said they were going to send an officer to arrest me, my ID was suspended for 5 yrs, said I would be in prison for 5 yrs, and house arrest for 3yrs. She used my abbreviated name, not my full legal name. I've done my taxes online for the past several years, and its gaurenteed to be correct. Besides I thought the IRS gave you ample letters and time to resolve the issue, so I kinda thought it was a scan.
I got a call on my phone and message today that it was the IRS, and that I needed to call immediately or have my appointed attorney to call. The message was left by Officer Nicky Johnson.
Yes. It's a time sensitive matter. Call back before action taken against me. Robocall from Mickey Johnson
A robotic voice named Nikki left me a voicemail. Obviously it's a scam. The IRS will never call you. They will mail you. Never give your personal information to anyone over the phone, especially when you don't know them.
