They texted me today about a newly established job. They got my number off of craigslist

Message from someone in India saying the IRS filled charges against me and if I didn't return their call immediately I would have to deal with the consequences. I don't have any IRS issues, but I'm curious as hell. I called the phone number, it is a Global Net number and definitely a scam. Did you recently call customer assistance for an internet, phone or software issue? Did you look at job offers and left your name, phone # and email? That's how they got your name and number.

Someone from this phone number called my office and left a voicemail saying, "Federal IRS charges have been filed against you. Please call back." This is a scam. We receive multiple calls per day from different phone numbers. When it is an actual person versus a recording, I have asked more than once to be removed from the calling list and to speak with a supervisor. I have also reported this phone number to the IRS Scam/Fraud Department, the National Do Not Call List and various websites. It is a SCAM

Called me about issues with my "IRS account." First part of the voicemail was cut off because it was apparently a recording that didn't know when to start talking.
