For the past month I have been receiving calls from someone claiming to be Brandon Parker (with the thickest India accent) on behalf of some lawyer named John Weber regarding a cash advance from Cash Advance America. Im no lawyer, but it seemed odd to me that if someone is suing me they wouldn't be so persistant or threatening to get a return phone call. Serve me with papers or provide me with a valid case number I can look up in a legitimate court house. I don't owe anyone money nor have I borrowed from a cash advance business. Needless to say when I did return the numerous phone calls I was ready with pen and paper and loads of questions for them as well. Ahkmed (aka Brandon Parker) didnt seem to know much except what a script was telling him to say. I have already reported this to my banking institution and call the National Identity Theft hotline in WA (877-438-4338).
As I am writing this Ahkmed #2 calls from 1-800-INDIA with the same story. His call came in with the following area codes (284), (750), and (405) and he gave me his name as Jack Taylor @ area code (610)235-0291
