Received a message that claimed to be called from William at the legal affairs department. Indian accent. This is a scam.

Same as other callers. They had my name. Heavy Indian accent. Told me they had a case file through the US Treasury and I should give them my lawyer's name. Gave me the number 408-905-2068 ext 104 to call. Told me to ask for Ethan Smith. I called just to see what this was and a recording came on saying Dept of Legal Affairs US Treasury.

Was called and told that they were from the US Treasury. I called them on their bluff of having a arrest warrant for me. Callers also had very heavy Indian Accents.

William White (heavy Indian? accent) called to tell me I had legal issues and that I or my attorney needed to call back to avoid a legal mess. . .

Same here... legal affairs... our attorney will contact you...he could barely speak English... but his name was William White!!! Lol

Caller claimed to be from IRS to collect funding. They hung up on me when I told them that their number, when googled, comes up as fraudulent.
