The Caller ID said, "Survey," the afternoon's been slow, so I answered. A pleasant-sounding recorded female voice identified herself as "Heather" with "account services department" calling about my (unspecified) credit card account. She assured me that there was no problem with the account but that I needed to act quickly to take advantage of an opportunity to lower my credit card's interest rate to 6%. I went ahead and pressed "1" for a live operator. I immediately asked him which of my cards they were calling about. "Er, Visa," he replied. "I don't have a Visa," I answered. "Do you have a MasterCard?" he asked. "Now you're just phishing," I replied, "and I shall report this ..." He'd hung up on me. He had what sounded like a very thick Jamaican accent, and claimed to be in Orlando, FL although the 409 area code is assigned to the Galveston-Beaumont, Tx area. This was a totally obvious phishing call.

Same number showed up on my cell phone. I missed the call. No message left. Showed Tx, USA.
It looks like spam. They called me today, I did not pick up but they did not leave the VM.
Reported them for calling me on the National Do Not Call registry. Hope they get fined big time!
