I just dealt with this number last week. Craigslist scam. Someone claiming they'd send me a cashier's check for my item, and once the check cleared my bank, they'd send someone to pick up my item. Apparently, they send a real looking check, you deposit it into the bank, bank releases the funds, they send someone to pick up your item, a few days later, bank returns the check as fraudulent. Now you owe your bank fees and your item is gone. Steer clear.

I stopped responding to texts from this #, and they continued to try and make the transaction. They would apologize for the delay in getting me my check, claiming one day that it was due to a personal family tragedy (daughter was in a "horrible accident"), and the next text they blamed the delay on the courier service. Bad people.
