I mistakenly thought 410 area code is another code close to where my boyfriend lives. He' been having some medical tests and when I saw "Gwynn Oak MD" on caller ID I thought it might be a doctor's office calling. Instead, it was a recorded message wanting to tell me how they could lower the interest rate on one of my cards. I immediately hung up. I was furious with myself for answering because I never answer a number or name I don't recognize. But more furious these scammers are out there preying on people. Now they know mine is a "live" number and I'll never get rid of them. Next time any call looks like it comes from "MD" it can go to voice mail. If it'still from a doctor'said office they'llc leave a message to call back.
Called cell phone, left no message. Cell phone on no call list.
