This is a (?) from the shipping department from emergency medical supply. They want us to approve the delivery of a service that is an emergency calling device of some kind.

This actually seemed like a scam. The guy started by telling me that someone had paid for a medical alert system for me and it was ready to be delivered to my house. When I tried to ask questions or suggest he had the wrong number, he just kept talking over me, not pausing to allow me to talk. I hung up, but had the sense that if I had allowed the call to continue, it would have ended with scamming me out of money to receive this medical alert system that someone had supposedly purchased for me.

The message indicated that I had ordered and prepaid for medical alert system to include shipping. This is fraudulent and probably an attempt to scam the elderly.
