A young female called our office and asked for the owner by his first name. I asked, "Who's calling, please?" and she just said, "Raven". I told her I couldn't transfer her with just her name and asked with whom was she calling. She said she was with AP&G (American Power & Gas) and instructed me to have the owner get our last BG&E (Baltimore Gas & Electric) bill in front of him because she had some sort of rebate to share. I told her he was not able to take the call and asked for her contact info. She provided this number and a call back number - 800.210.9011, and said she would be checking back at 4:30 today.
When she calls back, I will inform her that we're on the national Do Not Call registry and her calls will not be forwarded to the owner (who doesn't even make decisions about our energy provider) no matter how many times she calls.
We received a similar call about a month ago where I told the man who called the same thing and then hung up on him. He called back immediately, but I just repeated myself and hung up again.
