Same experience today. 4 charges, "local cops". I blocked the number and deleted.

Bogus IRS robocall. Recording stated the "local cops" would get involved which gave me a good laugh. First and foremost the IRS will never attempt communication via telephone, any and all inquiries will be submitted via mail. Secondly, any recording with slang verbiage should be immediately disregarded. Under no circumstance would a federal agency of any kind use the terminology 'cops' especially when insinuating repercussions, legal or otherwise.

Received a robocall today stating the IRS received my taxes and the local authorities would be involved tomorrow.

I just received same message , totally scam, DO NOT CALL THEM!! I turned number into our local law enforcement.

Automated message left on my cell phone claims that there are 4 charges against me and local authorities would be involved if I do not call them back. They did not leave a name or the organization they are calling on behalf of, or even who they are trying to contact. Extremely suspicious.
