yes i got a call this morning saying that i took out a loan at a cash advance and that i need to pay it back right away or i was gonna have to go to court so the heavy accent man said what do u want to do pay it now or go to court i said take me court. I get these calls 4 times aday its a big scam!!!

SCAM!!! Immediately report to the authorities! If no one reports - nothing will be done. The more reports - maybe something will be done.

1. this # is a MagicJack line (which btw MagicJack will not do anything about it)
1.a For all we know, MagicJack is the ones who are running this scam.
2. When you ask them where their jurisdiction is (as he claims to be a police officer) it completely confuses this guy.
3. Then all of a sudden he is a lawyer ( Well, which is it ?????)

Anyway - somehow this idiot (and I am being nice) has far too much information (some outdated, but still concerning)

If you have received these calls - I strongly recommend checking your credit report and place a fraud alert on your credit file - just in case.


So, I called him on the arrest thing - I told him I had no intention on paying this "debt" and he needs to come over to arrest me - I even offered to meet him at the local police station near where I am.

Then I told him I needed a vacation anyhow - so how long will my vacation be? :-)

Wonder if I will ever hear back.

i decided i would call back as many times as i could and horass them as much as possible. it worked, he eventually gave me HIS credit card information and i havent been called back since.

got a call this AM & the caller has a heavy middle eastern accent so I did not get every workd expect that i owe $400, aka debt collection. But if I pay around $113 it will be dismissed. So I kep asking for him to fax over paperwork & he said he cannot unless I was going to pay. Then he said he will forward to court so i said ok, thank you,

This number keeps calling. When I answered he said I owed money for a pay day loan. I've never had a payday loan, nor do I owe anyone money. I told him this and told him I was contacting authorities. Definately a scam! If he calls again I'm going to have some fun with the no good loser!

Heavy Middle Eastern accent & very broken English. I just received my second phone call from him: "Hi this is Officer Mike Williams from the law & investigation department. I hope you remember me. This call is to notify you that it is almost too late for you because I am transferring your file to the legal court house for action against your name. You will be put behind the jail. I give you last chance to resolve this matter. Call my number 410-988-7408. If you fail to give me call then you will lose your job, lose your kid, & lose each everything in your life. So give me call & put yourself in a safer side."

I received a call today stating to call this number back and eithe talk to Carlos Glus (I think) or a Mike somebody they stated that there was some kind of foreign crimianal activity being done by me. This is truly a scam considering I have never been out of the country nor have I had any doings outside of this country.

These guys just called me and I told them to call my Attorney as I filed Chapter 7 they told me they were going to take me out in the middle of the street and f*** me.

Did not identify himself. Just threatened me . Claims I wrote bad check in 2009. Not True!!!

same for me...had to listen to the message at least 4-5 times to even grasp his name...strong middle east accent ..it sounded like marty cooper but must be martin cooper like above...same thing ..i have been getting these calls since oct 2010 ....i am so sick of it....said he is filing in the courthouse and i will be arrested in 7days and go to jail ...in the next sentence states it isnt too late to resolve this matter and i should call him at 410 988 7408.....no way ....and has the nerve to tell me to have a great day......nothing but a big scam......they are so illegal and so against the fair trading laws....nothing but harassment ......i am not even acknowledging their calls.....he also stated cash advance america....i never took any loans from these people.....

me too...same Martin Cooper......says to call immediately as time senstive.....there is no way i am even acknowledging these phone calls...

Received a call from this number. Man stated his name is Martin Cooper. He has a thick middle eastern accent. Stated that he needed me to call back immediately because he had all my information and it would be submitted to a courthouse or something. Difficult to understand. I have had several calls like that one all from a different nunber and each time a thick middle eastern accent.

I have receive a call from Allen Watt just now he said he was filing a charge on the court house and I have a chance to settle out of court. Watch out it is a collector of

I got a call from an officer who claims that I have an account in his law firm dept. He said that I need to call him back as soon as possible to settle my account out of court and he was willing to help me out. He also said that this was time sensitive and need to get back to him. On the ID, it showed 1-000 and in the message he gave the number mentioned above. While listening, I heard messages and voices in the background. I researched the number and got other reports on this number Watch out!!!!!!
