This number called for my step-dad, and while I was trying to explain to her that he couldn't come to the phone because he recently died, she was rude and hung up on me abruptly, saying she'd try another time when she might get him and not me. The woman's name was Martha, although the call came from a business, probably a creditor. Next time I'll just tell her I'll go get him, and lay the phone on top of his ashes. Apparently that would have pleased her more than me trying to explain to her that he's dead.
