Rude Lady called asking for me by name (even though I have an unlisted telephone number.) She claimed she was calling about electric bill; but, when I asked her for her name and asked how she got my unlisted number, she argued back with me and said, "well I wouldn't be calling you if this were really an unlisted number." Oh REALLY NOW?!? SERIOUSLY?!? She asked to speak with "who was in charge of electric bill" and when I asked her for her name and company she was with for a second time, she got abusive, raised her voice and began yelling at me. She yelled: "You know what you aren't on any list" and she hung up on me. She was inappropriately nasty. It was a lady who was from the United States and not an overseas call center. I tried to call this number back because on my caller id, it showed up as (412)345-3843 Pittsburgh PA. When I did, I got a recording saying this number is not in service. Maybe whoever it really is could possibly be using a spoofed number to thwart caller id so folks like me can't call them back to complain about their rude "employee" (Scammer) on the phone? Too bad! If I knew what company this rude lady was with, I'd be filing complaints with the FCC cause I'm on do not call list, and my phone number really is an unpublished number, so likely I'd be slapping a cease and desist by certified in the mail to them. It sure wasn't my electric company as my bill is current and this isn't the time of year when you switch electric suppliers. Have no idea what type of scam she may have been up to since I doubt a legitimate company would have someone be so rude when I am screening a call and asking her for her name and company she is with.
