Just got a call...twice. I muted and put on speaker...no response. Glad to block it.

yes, just tonight about pain medication

Called asking for my mother who passed away a number of years ago. Yeah that call ended quick.

This number called and the guy said he was from United Pharmacy Services. He had my name and address and wanted to send a prescription request to my doctor so they could send me a topical cream for arthritis. He said it was a benefit from my insurance, then asked who was much insurance through. I said "if it is a benefit from my insurance shouldn't you know who my insurance company is?" He said it was for security, then later he said it was to check to see if it was covered. I took his information and his number and said I would discuss it with my doctor. He still was pushing for more information and I told him I'm not giving any more information than you already have and hung up. It obviously has NOTHING to do with my insurance or my doctor or anything I filled out as he said. It was a cold call trying to sell me and my insurance something I really do not need! Modern day snake oil salesman.

This number called on August 23 about 8 p.m. and again August 25 about 1:15 p.m. Both times did not leave message.
