Why would a utility company in a state halfway across the country contact me. Someone in WI (which is the 2-letter postal abbreviation I started receiving about 2 - 3 months ago) is using robocalls or burner phones with different phone numbers to appear as a different caller each time.

Spoke with the "agent", asked why he doesn't get a legitimate job. His answer, "They don't pay enough". When I accused him of ripping people off his response was, "We help people move money to our account".
