I received a call from "Jack" from "Microsoft" who read the license of my computer to me. The call back number was 415-200-1368. A certain scam!

I GOT A CALL FROM "7" IS WHAT IS SAID ON MY PHONE, HE TOLD ME HE WAS FROM WINDOWS TECHNICAL SUPPORT. I COULD HEAR A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE TALKING IN THE BACKGROUND. THEY WANTED ME TO TURN ON MY COMPUTER AND GIVE HIM ACCESS TO MY COMPUTER. I TOLD HIM I NEED TO CALL THEM BACK AND ASKED HIM FOR HIS PHONE NUMBER AND HE GAVE ME 415-200-1368 AND TOLD ME TO ASK FOR RYAN. I THINK THIS IS A SCAM.

They called and said I had a computer virus issue and was at risk. They wanted to have me give them a check and they would pick it up.

I wasn't called by this number but I was given it as a number to call back. If the "technician" i was talking to and I were disconnected. It was a caller claiming to be with microsoft and that my computer was sending out viruses.
