Just got this call - like the IRS would really use an automated voice! I would expect a registered letter or something. I read about these fraud calls online, but how many people are going to fall for it? Nikki Johnson was the name used.

Nicki Johnson called saying I should call back right away!!! Says she is from the IRS and I could be in trouble if I don't call back.

Yes called me talking about tax fraud and the cops would be at my door. But couldn't tell me anything

posing as the IRS they are NOT its a scam. IRS will send letters they do NOT call you

I received an automated message from a nicki johnson stating she was from the irs and that i had to call back immediately or the irs would take action against me they didnt ask for anyone specifically by name the number was 415-231-3785 I just ignored the call and don't plan on calling back either.

Just got the call and didn't recognize the number so let it go to voice mail. It was a recorded voice saying the same thing. Thay were from the IRS, it was urgent that I call or they would have to take action. Unbelievable!

Called claiming to be from the IRS

I had a message on my magic Jack phone threatening if I do not return the call with in 2 Hours so I did called them and spoke to an Indian accent male.
So I copied this message same was happening to me exactly

I got call and was told IRS recalculated my taxes for 2012 & 2013 and I owe $3481.65. IF I DIDNT PAY, IRS would seize my bank accounts, credit and debt credit cards, my house, my cars, and my insurance and would come to my house and lead me away in handcuffs for 5 years in prison! ETC.

Got a pre-recorded call from this number this morning. She didn't ask for anyone specific or by name. Stated she was from the Internal Revenue Service, that I needed to call the number she provided by the end of day to prevent further action. Did not return the call. Did block the call for the future.

Received a call from this number. Pre-recorded voice claiming to be from the IRS. Threatened me with legal action if I did not call the number back.

Called claiming to be IRS and I needed contact them. I should not ignore call, there would be dire consequences! NOT how the IRS works dude!

I WAS JUST CALLED BY THEM AND I WORK FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT AND TOLD THEM IT WAS ILLEGAL TO MAKE THESE PHONE CALLS. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE SHAKING IN THERE BOOTS AND GAVE ME RASPBERRIES... THAT IS SO ADULT AND PROFESSIONAL... VERY MUCH A SCAM...

By the way, these people have the ability to manipulate Caller ID. They have the ability to make your phone display the phone number of your local police department. In this way, they can make you believe that the police department is actually calling you and is coming to arrest you. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. Ask for Employee ID numbers and then tell them you have to hang up and you will call IRS, Police Department, or whoever they mention, and verify that they are employees of whatever organization they claim. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION! No SSN, no address, no nothing!
