IRS never call you they will send you a regular Mail if they have any issues with you.
Robot-like female voice claims to be from the Internal Revenue Service. Threatens legal action if I don't call back. The real IRS advises that such phone calls are fraudulent, and should be ignored. (The real IRS uses the United States Postal Service to conduct their business.)
Nicki Johnson from IRS in an automated voice
We called this number after receiving an automated message twice in the same day and had the same guy answer the phone both times. We told him the second time that we knew he was fraudulent and had been reported to the IRS. He immediately wanted to know the number we were calling from so he could remove it from his call list because we called him back on a phone that we were not originally contacted by them on. These people are definitely frauds DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!!!!!!
This voicemail is outrageous! Caller with a computerized voice stating it's the IRS and "do not avoid calling them back" to avoid legal action. Calls started this week (2/11/16 and 2/12/16). I hope these people are prosecuted for harassment and threatening phone calls.
