FAKE IRS

Caller ID showed Novato 415-234-9598: A call from this number came in at 445am claiming to be the IRS and advising that I need a lawyer immediately. I'm to return their call obtain the info on how to clear this up, assuming it was to send money. It was an automated call w/a very bad computer generated woman's voice.

I'm in Texas and would not expect an IRS call from the original San Francisco area code, especially such a bad automated voice. The IRS don't need to threaten with the police, they can take any matter up on their own.

BTW: my last REAL exp. w/ the IRS was very pleasant. You'd have to be another Al Capone to get them this excited, and I'm sure they wouldn't call!
