Its a sweatshop with scammers calling saying you owe money to the IRS. Had 10 minutes to kill so called them back and listened to their pitch .Can hear all the others in the background. Sound Indian, and are very arrogant when you start questioning them.
Called at 10:41 am quote from voice mail transcript “Hi officer Julie Smith from internal revenue service and the hotline to my division is 415-234-9612. I repeat it's 415-234-9612. Don't disregard this message and do return the call before we take any action against you. Goodbye and take care.”
Didn't address anyone specific so there is no way to know who she wants from this household to call her hotline.
Does anyone know what happens if you call the hotline?
She really wants to talk to me! 3 calls already on a Sat morning. Lucky me IRS Julie Smith robo call. Thank you for waking me up
Same as above. In didn't pick up but it still left a voicemail. Robo voice calling itself "Julie smith from IRS" and threatening to "take action" if I don't call back.
Has called several times. It is a prerecorded message that Says its an attorneys office on the behalf of the IRS. Threatens to sue if call is not returned.
