I was confused when I got the text because I didn't recognize the phone number, and didn't recall requesting to be put on the waiting list, BUT after I went online and googled "on camera personal safety" and the watch the video I did indeed remember that this was something I had put my name on the waiting list for a few months back. I opted not to do it right now because there's a fee, but basically if you sign up, and you find yourself in a sketchy situation like being fallowed, you open the app and it immediatly connects you to a video conference call with a police officer even while searching your location. You turn the screen to the pursuer and the police officer speaks directly to the pursuer letting him know that he has now been identified by a police officer, and unless he wants to be caught and arrested he can turn and leave without having committed a crime that he would have 0 chances of getting away with since its been caught on camera by legal authority. That's about all I've heard of it. I'm still iffy, maybe if I here more about in the news or by more reputable sources I'll try it.

Sent following text: Scott has sent you a message on OnCamera. Your place on the waiting list has now come up with a link???? Really? Certainly not falling for that!

Sending text saying I signed up for a security app for my phone and then I'm now available for it just push this link! Yeah right!
