The call was from Julie Smith from IRS with a Robo call to respond and do not ignore the call. They called twice. When I returned the call I was told I had a warrant for my arrest for tax fraud. The sheriffs would be picking me up in a couple of hours. It really scared me but it appeared to be a scam from some of the questions that gentleman answered.

They called twice today say my name is juily smith sound like a robot talking from the irs full of crap if you ask me

I received this call twice today, 1/20/2015. The robot caller stated they were Julie Smith calling from the IRS and that either I, or my criminal attorney must call her back today. The caller never stated my name. It must be a scam!!!

Same as those stated above. I told the guy who answered that it was bogus call. They weren't even using my legal name when they called. When I stated it was a bogus call, he said that I could speak with the sheriff that would be at my house to arrest me this evening.

Man with accent claims to be Alex Walker from the Legal Affairs office of the Us Treasury. Said extremely important he speak to my husband. Wanted to know when he would be home. Told him none of his business and that it is fraud and illegal to impersonate a federal employee or entity. He then said inappropriate things and I hung up. Called the phone number back and used my air horn. Idiots!

Same thing happened today 1/14/15 about 9:30am in the morning. Our phone said the call originated from Nevada but has a 415 number. I wish there was something that could be done about this nonsense. It was a recording robo call. Note: recording identified themselves as the IRS. Thanks for posting this info.

This is a scam. They say they are the IRS and they want your criminal attorney's number for a case that has been filed against you. When I asked if this was a scam they hung up.
