A thickly accented woman left a message about legal action against my name. Warned that I may want to contact my "rebate lawyer"?? Maybe she actually said something different, but I couldn't make it out. Mentioned Dept of Legal Affairs. After Todd's story below, I am really tempted to call back but I think he already had all the fun.

415-746-6097 with the Caller ID of Rebekah Thorn, called me left a voice mail on my landline. the person has the heaviest indian accent I have ever heard. said he was calling about an legal issue his name is "Sheldon Miller" with the Department of Legal Affairs.

Call from someone with a heavy Indian accent, claiming there is legal action against me. I laughed and told him it was a scam - he was insistent there was no scam.

Knowing in advance that this was a scam, I had some fun when I called back. The guy said there was a warrant out for my arrest. I told him "I have my attorney with me, and he wants to get on the line to get the details from you." Then he immediately said "I am sending police to your house, do you want that?" I said, "No, I want you to talk to my lawyer" and he hung up. I kept calling back and getting a busy signal, then got his voice mail (with a full mailbox) until finally he answered and told me to stop calling, he's sending the police. I asked "how many are you sending, it sounds fun" and then he hung up. Idiots. Don't they watch the news?

Caller id on phone said Lucasfilm. Number: 415-746-6097 Scammer saying that there's a legal issue against my name. Says that I should have my attorney beside me when I make the call back. Call back to Adam Walker of Legal (BS) Affairs....Really! Strange accent and pauses stating my name. Total scam. Scumbags of the earth who are so bored with their life!

A woman voice stating that the call is from IRS threatening to take action by calling the number 415-746-6961. It seems like some bastards looking for easy money by trapping Americans

Received the call from this number...IRS threatening with prosecution if not paid them immediately. Returned the call and it was picked up by some Alex with over Anglicized English. They want some free money and they think that Americans are fools and they can easily cheat them.

I have received three calls from this number today with the same caller ID and phone number. I tried to call back to see what information I could gather, but I was put on hold on the first attempt endlessly and on the second a recording said to hold on but I was eventually disconnected. When I just tried the number a recording said that the voice mail account was full and said to try back later.

Caller: A woman's voice gave her name as Julie from the IRS (whose last name I've forgotten)

This call was supposedly from the IRS threatening prosecution. The Call ID was LucasFilm.
