He works for LendingClub loan company. I submitted a request for information to get a paid in full satisfactorily letter and he was calling to confirm he was emailing it to me.
If he was calling saying fishy things it might have been an attempt to collect a debt and using a tactic to get you on the phone and confirm address information I would bet.
In any case this is who I found it to be. I believe his name was Rob.
