have told them to not call but it doesn't seem to work

I am getting phone called every day. I do not answering and let my phone busy without picking up phone. To trick them, Bell will charge them for busy called, not me.

I was thinking if u picking up phone and no answering. He/She will probablies will get paid for not answering.

I phoned the number without the 1 in front, and got a message saying it is a "newspapers call centre. To enquire about promotions....etc" and you will be given another number. Thus, NCC stands for Newspaper Call Centre. Why someone did not say anything in the original call is beyond me.

1-416-630-5150 ..... This number just called, Dec.2011. They dont say anything.
I have been told that people are being called just to find out when you are home. The info is passed on to telemarketers. Then if you are home every day at a cetain time, an affiliated telemarketer will call at that specific time, and you will likely be home to receive the call.

We are receiving calls from this number daily. No message is left and as others have stated, no one speaks if you pick up. They call more than once a day. What can we do about it? How many complaints have to be reported before it's followed up on?
